PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in managing the EXP activities.
- Monitor EXP syllabi for compliance.
- Coordinate EXP assessments with the Office of Planning, Research and Assessment and the faculty.
- Collect and compile the assessment results.
- Maintain records of EXPs approved and offered.
- Coordinate between Center for Effective Teaching and Engagement (CETEL) and the QEP office.
2. Assist in managing the EXP Zone.
- Coordinate use of the EXP Zone, including key and card access, classroom schedules, room assignments, and building maintenance.
3. Marketing and Communication
- Coordinate with the marketing department.
- Maintain the QEP pages on the university’s internet site.
- Assist the QEP director in developing a plan for social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Assist the QEP director in designing and implementing short-term and long-term campaigns for awareness and motivation of faculty, staff, and students.
- Collaborate with BJUToday and other campus media to highlight student, faculty, and staff experiences and accomplishments.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to take initiative and be flexible.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree.
