Responsible for managing projects that drive down warranty, compass, GCA and other quality metrics. Support DRR, EFTQ, DRL and throughput initiatives for the Assembly Plant. Work closely with GM Engineering and GM Supplier Quality on all Engineering Changes and supplier related Quality.
This position supports the Quality Engineering organization and the Plant production groups by driving for solutions in the following areas. A strong understanding of engineering principles and quality systems is required.
- J.D. Power
- 2MIS and 12MIS warranty
- Compass
- EFTQ
- DRR/DRL
- throughput and build concerns
- Supplier performance and issue mitigation/remediation
An understanding and working knowledge of the following systems is also required
- SPPS
- PRTS
- eSAP
- ECM
