The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our product to the next level with respect to quality, usability, and performance. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to assist in the development and creation of web based UI automated tests to ensure product quality. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we'd like to meet you. This position will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance, Engineering.
Locumsmart is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Development team. The Development team's goal is to design, develop and implement robust web-based application tools to help streamline the Locum Tenens recruiting process. As a Quality Engineer on the Development team you will write automated tests to help ensure the best possible product quality as part of our CI/CD process. This role will report to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Write automated tests for existing and on-going feature development
- Provide feedback and help maintain existing code base
- Identify key areas of the app that may need additional test coverage
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC concepts
- Proven work experience writing and maintaining test automation using test frameworks such as Jasmine/Jest
- Working knowledge of Cypress
- Professional experience with Object Oriented programming languages like JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience in Agile/Scrum software development
- 1-3 years Quality Engineering experience
- Experience using Postman API tool
- Familiarity with Jenkins or any other CI/CD tool
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $23,400 -- $220,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
