Associate Attorney

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to practice in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate, Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, General Litigation and/or Family Law. Applicant should be interested in a long-term position with our firm. The successful candidate will assist in various legal matters, including research, drafting legal documents, and providing support to senior attorneys. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
• Assist in preparing for trials and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice as needed
• Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
• Assist in negotiating settlements or agreements on behalf of clients
• Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts
• Maintain accurate and organized case files

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar association
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
• Proficiency in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis or similar platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience in legal administrative tasks is preferred
