Job Summary:We are seeking an Associate Attorney to practice in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate, Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, General Litigation and/or Family Law. Applicant should be interested in a long-term position with our firm. The successful candidate will assist in various legal matters, including research, drafting legal documents, and providing support to senior attorneys. Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Assist in preparing for trials and hearings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice as needed
- Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
- Assist in negotiating settlements or agreements on behalf of clients
- Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis or similar platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in legal administrative tasks is preferred
