Job Description:
Avetta is seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer at Avetta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform. You will work closely with our development and product teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our Salesforce applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, ApexUnit).
- Execute test cases and scenarios across multiple Salesforce environments (e.g., Sandbox, Production) to ensure the integrity of the platform.
- Identify, prioritize, and report software defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and prevent regression issues in new releases.
- Conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure optimal system performance under various load conditions.
- Participate in release planning and provide input on quality-related aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on testing Salesforce applications.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce platform configuration and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, ApexUnit, or similar.
- Hand-on experience writing Apex Unit tests.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Agile Central).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are a plus.
