2nd Shift Surface Mount Technology Machine Operator/Automated Optical Inspector
Weekly Pay $19.80 to $24.20 per hour. Depending on experience
2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Training on 1st shift 6:48 am-3:18 pm)
Family-owned electronics company is looking for a detailed SMT Machine Operator/Automated Optical Inspector. What the Machine Operator/Automated Optical Inspector Will Do:
- Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem-solving, process improvements, and performance measurements.
- Proficiency in setup and operation of Surface Mount Technology equipment while achieving goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement, and solder joint defects.
- Using magnification aids and stereo-microscopes, inspect populated printed circuit boards and identify component misplacement and solder defects to IPC-A-610 standards.
Machine Operator/Automated Optical Inspector Will Need:
- IPC-A-610 certification required, or successful completion of certification program per an agreed-upon timeline.
- Minimum of two years of electronics experience, training, and/or education
- Previous soldering experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
