Summary
The candidate within this role, will be providing order entry and inspection assistance to the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority)/MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) department. *Due to the nature of the supported department, the candidate will be subject to pre-employment drug testing, in compliance with the federal regulations of the FAA.

Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 year previous experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred
· Two years or more experience performing data entry/order entry
· Must have excellent communication skills
· Must have good time management and organizational skills.
· Must be analytical with a strong attentiveness to details
· Must be computer literate
· Must be experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
· Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Review customer purchase orders prior to entry and flag possible discrepancies between the documentation and part requirements.
· Navigate customer purchase orders and enter detailed requirements into the ERP system.
· Generate work order travelers from ERP system and perform a detailed review for discrepancies.
· Organize job order packages for floor personnel and attach to the production hardware. Maintain traceability.
· Assist in performing preliminary, in-process and final inspections in a timely manner to help ensure that PDD’s are met.
· Handle and visually inspect flight critical parts per customer, repair, and internal requirements. Identify part damage promptly and initiate non-conforming material process.
· Provide inspector sign-off for hardware prior to repairman review.
· Learn how to use and read a micrometer, caliper, microscope, testing oven, and thread/ring/pin gauges.
· Assist in packaging customer hardware prior to shipment per customer and internal requirements.
· Generate shipping documents such as COC’s, 8130’s, and packing slips upon the completion of an order.
· Aid production personnel with questions and concerns regarding quality and order requirements
· Communicate with customers regarding certification requests, certification corrections, parts status, clerical errors, quality concerns, etc.
· Perform certification/ 8130 corrections promptly.
· Perform weekly inventory of supplies for Quality Control office and restock when necessary.
· Coordinate with the shipping department personnel regarding incoming and outgoing orders.
· Assist in maintaining documentation including internal process sheets, service bulletins, part & airline specifications, and any other MFT, FAA Approved Technical Data.
· Aid with recurring process compliance checks on the floor.
· Assist when needed with internal, customer and FAA Part 145 repair station audits.
· Perform system accuracy test (SAT’s) for ovens used in the processing of aerospace hardware.
· Assist with corrective action request and help mitigate non-conforming material discoveries and escapes.
· Assist in other administrative duties.
