PRATT & WHITNEY END PRODUCT / AEROSPACE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Set up operation 1st piece inspection processes

In process – any adjustment on process operations (recording on travelers)

Receiving Inspection of processes- visual to specifications/ drawing orientation requirements

FAI - 1st piece Inspections (AS9102 forms or customer forms)

Final Inspection reports

Familiar with Pratt & Whitney specifications, and know how to navigate all flow down from spec to spec- reviewing dimensional requirements & recording that are flow down from the process specs.( e.g. coating thickness, rivet heights and diameters after assembly, weld hts and lengths dims that are required after process and before process)

Check Raw material for 1st piece of process operations (in material list internal web/share point)

Calibrations internal/ and logging external and gage track software

Temperatures required for inspections/ calibrations

Set up marking operations on stencil machine to Customer requirements

Run stencil marking

Validate machine marking for floor metal stamp

Requesting office to order stencils and metal stamps when required

Maintaining Inventory of stock parts kept in Inspection room

Maintaining Inventory of stencil paper/ and electrolytes-neutralizers

Maintain Records for Eye exams – inspectors and welders

Releasing appropriate weld wires to welders

Releasing appropriate nut plates and rivets for riveters.

Releasing/ checking weld fixtures and gages

Visualizing welds after weld process

Answering Customer Source Representatives/ auditors when appropriate

Able to communicate discrepancies to shop floor, Quality manager, and Production manager.

Add/ or aid for risk management/ corrective action processes when appropriate.
