Responsibilities:
-Must be able to communicate any quality issue arising while performing visual or CMM inspections to the Quality Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Record and document inspection results and data accurately.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with Quality Control procedures.
- Assist in the development and improvement of Quality Control procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
-Support Quality Department in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) in accordance with the established quality procedures
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
- Knowledge of Quality Control principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
