Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
Performing and approve the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins
Read and understand blueprints and specifications
Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gages, or micrometers
Accept or reject finished items
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
Report inspection and test data
Attention to details
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection
Perform 1st Piece Inspections
Verify and document that materials are manufactured to blueprint requirements
Maintain acceptable quality levels during manufacture of products and assemblies
Identify and resolve problems, effectively manage change and deal with conflict in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers and AS9100 Aerospace Standards/MIL Standards
Able to operate electronic inspection equipment, such as coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs)
Requirements
1 - 5 years work experience or related manufacturing work experience required
ITAR regulations - US Citizen or Permanent Resident
