Are you detail-oriented with a knack for ensuring products meet quality standards? We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Hudson, NY, on a direct hire basis.
Quality Control Inspector Requirements:
- Previous experience in Quality Control or a related field preferred
- Background in auto mechanics, construction, or a trade field will be considered
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills for measurement and calculation purposes
- Proficiency in using calipers, ring gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies
- Good vision with or without glasses, as the role requires visual inspections
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 20lbs

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Test and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Utilize calipers, ring gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement tools to verify product dimensions
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure products conform to requirements
- Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on products
- Identify and document any defects or discrepancies in product quality
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results
- Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel for resolution
- Stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 20lbs
