The Immunogenetics and Transplantation Center (IGT) of the Rogosin Institute is an independent not-for-profit laboratory providing services to 21 transplant programs in the New York area and facilitates over 1000 solid organ transplants annually, including kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, lung, and intestinal transplants.
IGT, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City, offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth in a collegial work environment with excellent remuneration. Our goal is to provide the best histocompatibility testing for our patients.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified and dedicated technologist for a full-time in-person position. The technologist will participate in on-call work on a rotation basis. This exciting opportunity involves developing/enhancing your expertise in molecular techniques such as PCR methods including SSP, SSOP and real-time PCR assays as well as next-generation sequencing. Our technologists engage in clinical testing, analysis of test results, reporting of results, quality assurance processes, equipment maintenance and continuing educational opportunities. In addition, our technologists play an active role in facilitating organ transplantation including assessment of recipient-donor compatibility.

Candidates must possess a baccalaureate or higher degree with a major in one of the sciences or a four-year degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
