The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, superior work ethics and must be a team player. This is a hands-on position, and this person will perform normal incoming inspection duties.
Essential Functions
Performs incoming inspection duties, in-process, printed circuit boards and final product inspection and advises suppler findings with reports, photos, and documentation.
Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, discrete components or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using procedures, work instructions, mechanical or electrical measurements.
Utilize inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, visual systems to ensure part quality conformance.
Provide electronic and hard copy reports of inspections using company ERP systems.
Document inspection results, issue non-conformances.
Assist on the first article inspections.
Assist with processing vendor returns.
Must have excellent organization skills in Microsoft office environment. Must be able to manipulate data in Excel and Power Point.
Assist in resolving quality issues in an ethical and efficient manner.
Provide input in products, processes, and systems where improvements can be made.

Required Education and Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Electronic manufacturing and Quality
Must understand electronic sub-assembly/component manufacturing.
Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, and/or other ISO standards
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective customer interface as well as with all internal contacts.
Knowledgeable in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards and background in ISO-9001.
