Boeing is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in San Antonio, TX. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
This position is for 2nd shift hours. (2pm -10:30pm)
Position Responsibilities:
- This inspector implements Quality Control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations
- Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions
- Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner
- Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished
- Communicates deficiencies to proper persons
- Maintains Quality Control files
- Document results of all inspections.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in aviation
- Experience using using precision measuring equipment necessary for product verification
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Previous Quality Assurance is a plus
Typical Education/ Experience:
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
