Job Description
The client is an FAA/FAR Part 145 Repair Station that provides cost-effective interior aircraft solutions and services. The company refurbishes, fabricates, and overhauls various aircraft components and accessories for commercial, regional, corporate, and government VIP military aircraft. Based in Houston, Texas, Intech’s mission is to be the premier aircraft interior company recognized by customers as their supplier of choice for their interior requirements.
Role Description
- This is an on-site role where the primary responsibilities include:
- Receiving components from customers
- Generating the required paperwork
- Performing initial, in-process, and final inspections
- Completing all required paperwork and accomplishing the airworthiness release
- This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment; candidates must have organizational skills and an eye for detail. Candidates will accomplish document reviews to include customer-supplied documents as well as all repair station documents for accuracy and completeness. Participation in repair station internal audits will also be a function of the selected candidate.
Qualifications
- Required: An FAA Mechanics Certificate with a minimum Airframe rating is required. General computer skills in Excel and Word are desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for aerospace and/or manufacturing industries
- Experience in using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, or comparators
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for quality assurance purposes (Excel and Word)
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure quality of products and services
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,416.00 - $54,618.00 per year
