Quality Control Inspector

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections and quality tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will use a variety of inspection tools and equipment to perform your duties and document any non-conformances for further investigation and corrective actions. Additionally, you may be involved in conducting root cause analysis and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and quality tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Ensure materials and products meet quality standards and specifications
• Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Document inspection results and non-conformances
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine the cause of any non-conformances
• Implement corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure they are calibrated and in good working condition
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations and procedures

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications and drawings
• Experience with inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Knowledge of Quality Control standards and procedures
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Quality control certification is a plus
