Food Distribution EXPERIENCE A MUST
Quality Control Specialist needed!
Shift: 6:00am-3:00pm
Pay: $17-18
Employee Responsibilities
• Adhere to cGMP and SOPs.
• Report any situations that might have a negative effect on food safety or quality immediately to supervisor or QA Department.
• Ensure food safety and quality are maintained according to company standards.
• Comply with policies and procedures to prepare and pack products under sanitary conditions that do not expose it to the risk of contamination.
• Operate and maintain a clean and hygienic standard of operation. Follow Company cGMP’s (Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Policies at all times)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Conducts statistical product appearance checks, weight checks, scale calibrations.
• Performs and verifies cleanliness of the production lines, batch issuing(labels), batch entering on the system (daily production board)
• Conducts/ verifies weight checks on batches after being weight, performs/verifies cleanliness of all blending rooms and equipment inside.
• Performs math checks on all batches after they are weighed to make sure the correct amount of material was added.
• Conducts/ verifies weight checks on batches after being weight, performs/verifies cleanliness of all blending rooms and equipment inside.
• Performs in process batch checks (batch color, taste, ir, moisture, input date in the system
• Conducting routine checks on production equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Performing quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
• Documenting and reporting any deviations from Quality Control procedures.
