Quality Assurance/Control Intern
This is a full-time temporary position with a preference for Colorado Springs, CO, Bellevue, NE, or Fairfax, VA.
Our Quality Department is looking for highly motivated people who will help the company advance the process, procedures, and next level of quality and scalability by assisting in evaluating, analyzing, and improving the quality of services and products in the most efficient way. Our quality interns will work as part of our QA/QC teams to learn and apply quality principles in a service-oriented environment.
Quality interns participate and assist in evaluating, testing, and improving the quality of our services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality methodologies within a non-technical service-oriented environment. You must be a self-starter, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. Quality Assurance/Control interns are mentored and monitored by the Quality Control Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Attend daily leadership team meetings and/or other regularly scheduled meetings.
- Support the Quality team in conducting evaluations and assessments of service delivery processes.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to service quality metrics.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality enhancement strategies.
- Assist in documenting and maintaining quality standards and procedures.
- Contribute to the creation of reports and presentations on quality performance.
- Managing complete, accurate and legible records in accordance with company policy.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for delivering high-quality services and a desire to learn about quality principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with QA tools is a plus.
Required Experience:
- Must be a currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor's program. Preferably Quality Control, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field of study.
- Able to work 40 hours a week as a Quality Intern.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time depending on your position and/or getting up and down through your work shift.
- Ability to view a computer for a long period of time.
