Quality Assurance Technician - Production Support

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of client projects throughout the production process. This individual must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to identify variances in printed and inserted output, according to client specifications. Individual will be responsible for most of the day-to-day paperwork, quality control, and reporting as it relates to individual daily programs.

• Review and validate Quality of Job Specifications, digitally printed output and insertion, in accordance with Quality Control standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily jobs.
• Setup Initial Job jackets for 150 – 250 jobs, per day, for daily projects.
• Perform ongoing Quality checks throughout the production cycle to ensure accurate completion of live work.
• Ensure all paperwork (orders) is accounted for, completed and logged accurately in accordance with the requirements.
• Oversee and review insert tracking system effectiveness and accuracy to ensure all pieces are tracked, as required.
• Perform “Postal Functions” as required for marking jobs complete and produce daily reports for completed work.
• Identify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies or ambiguities in the client’s specifications and identify primary processing steps, or tasks, that are required to complete a project. Escalate as needed for further resolution/reporting.
