KeyStaff is hiring for a Safety Specialist / Quality Assurance Technicianin Cedar Park, TX!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Pay: 28-30/hr
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the management and supervision of activities to ensure the safety of employees.
- Overseeing workspaces to ensure they meet safety standards and assist in investigating accidents
- Facilitates data collection, initiates reports, and manage pertinent safety records set forth by OSHA, ETS-Lindgren and its customers.
- Manage employee training for safety programs including Employee Safety Committee.
- Performs inspections, verifications and audits to ensure compliance to established standards and specifications for received purchased goods, materials, fabricated and assembled parts, final inspections and pack audits, etc
- Responsible for collecting, maintaining, and compiling statistical data for quality control.
- Coordinates and revises process controls and associated procedures for line inspectors.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with a 2-year degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing or Construction Safety
- Certification is not mandatory but proves the candidate’s proficiency. Some of these include completing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30hr course or Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) certification
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
- Versed on Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
