Polymaker develops, produces and markets high value materials for 3D printing. Our company is growing rapidly and can be described as young, open and energetic.

Polymaker has been active in the US since 2013. We have built up a network of channel partners who serve end-users from all over the United States. Our end-users are hobbyists, professionals and industrial customers who 3D print high quality parts using our filaments.

From our 40,000 SF facility in Missouri City, TX, we currently manage the production and distribution of 3D printing filament for the North America region.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Technician conducts final quality inspection, performs end-user testing, and performs calibration on all measurement devices that may impact product quality.

POSITION TYPE

Full Time, Hourly

The Quality Assurance Technician reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect production final quality per sampling plan
• Perform test 3D prints to validate end-user acceptability
• Perform or schedule calibrations for all gages, instrumentation, field tools, and scales
• Maintain calibration records for all gages, instrumentation, field tools, and scales
• Follow all company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards

• Stop work authority – STOPS all work if unsafe conditions are identified

• Identify and communicate areas of improvement

Key Expectations:

• 8 Hour Shifts from 8am-5pm
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching are normal expected movements during a shift
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility
• PC literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Willingness to learn and teach others
• Willingness to learn and adopt core values of the company
• 0% travel required

Preferred Experience Background

• Multilingual (Mandarin Chinese)

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range:

$16-18/HR commensurate with experience.
