Job Title: Production Quality Assurance Technician Lead
Reports Directly To: Sr. QA & Food Safety Manager
3rd Shift (9:30 pm to 6:00 am)
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be able to read, write and speak English.
· Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the required authorization to work in the U.S.
· Must have basic math skills.
· Must demonstrate competency on the Production Operating Procedures.
· Must have an understanding of the expected performance of company blends.
· Must be responsible, dedicated, dependable and punctual.
· Must have ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
· Must be self-motivated.
· Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with others.
· Must be organized, accurate and thorough with attention to detail and follow up.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible to perform direct observation verification of process controls and monitoring blending activities.
· Perform operational inspections to ensure adherence to GMP’s and food safety (GFSI).
· Responsible for maintaining well organized, detailed, and legible Quality Assurance records.
· Responsible for any task assigned by management.
· Responsible for maintaining and improving the safety, legality and quality of the products manufactured for the customers of BCW Food Products.
· Responsible to report any deviation from a quality requirement and place the product on hold.
- Responsible to leading and overseeing the Production QA Technicians and the 3rd Shift QA Lab Technicians.
