The QA Polymers Intern will be responsible for fixture design for CMM measurement analysis of new parts. They will organize, catalog, and develop a schematic for making parts and the NTB parts and fixtures in the QA lab. The intern will conduct measurement analyses for new parts, understanding and developing measurement plans. The focus of the internship will be to gain exposure to multiple facets of the design and measurement processes as well as the Quality Assurance techniques.
- Improved understanding of fixture design and CMtvl requirements.
- In-depth experience with new part approval processes.
- First-hand experience with high volume production and the implications for QA.
Academic Year: Sophomore or above
Area of Study: Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering
Preferred GPA: 3.0 or higher
Software Knowledge: MS Office, CAD (Creo or similar), basic programming skills
Work Hours: 7:30AM-4:00PM M-F
Department: Quality Assurance Polymers
Compensation: $20/hour
