Quality Assurance Engineer - Westborough, Ma

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking a resource for an 11-month Contract position with a potential extension or conversion.
Looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to execute required testing, assemble fixtures and determine root cause failures as a part of our client's robotics team. This resource will be mostly working independently, checking in with lead engineers.
Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of industry experience testing hardware, including PCBAs
• Experience using standard electrical test/laboratory equipment (Oscilloscopes, Data acquisition devices, Digital multi-meters, Signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Read and understand electrical schematics
• Understand and execute documented test procedures
• Collect test data, document test artifacts and conditions
• Troubleshoot electronic devices under test
• Board-level soldering experience
• Experience using standard electrical test/laboratory equipment (Oscilloscopes, Data acquisition devices, Digital multi-meters, Signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Clear written and verbal communication to be able to communicate with Test Engineers and external stakeholders
• Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment is a plus
• Experience with QA process and Hardware Development Life Cycle

Compensation: $34.00 per hour
