AddressJill Acquisition LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Quincy, MA) to serve as a key member of the Information Services technical organization and play a crucial role on the Quality Assurance team.
Overview :
Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of test automation frameworks and techniques. Develop efficient test automation solutions with a focus on scalability and reusability. Utilize programming skills for automation and understanding of latest QA automation technologies to propose and enhance the current automation system. Develop, document, and execute tests to achieve the quality standards agreed upon in the test strategy and test plans. Follow the established processes and procedures and ensure documentation of test artifacts meet standards for successful process-audits (including PCI and SOX). Identify and manage multiple projects’ QA dependencies and deliverables to ensure effective execution and delivery of QA tasks on schedule and budget. Identify and escalate risks and issues appropriately. Prepare progress and status reports regarding QA activities for review by the QA Manager and Project leadership. Ensure detailed reports on issues identified in QA testing, including steps to reproduce defects are reported in Jira with supporting screenshots and videos. Work cross-functionally including other departments to triage customer reported issues. Revise and improve existing J Jill solutions based on feedback
from QA team members and business stakeholders. Meet with business and technology leads to understand objectives and map out testing requirements. Troubleshoot and identify software and hardware problems and describe the issue to others in a clear and concise manner. Under supervision, leads full testing life cycle, including requirements validation, test planning, and test case identification/development, development of manual test cases, functional testing, and user acceptance testing. Local telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation for eCommerce and Retail industry. Must have the following experience: scripting languages; CI/CD; framework design, HTML, and CSS; Maven, Eclipse, Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured tools; Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr; developing test cases, executing test scripts, and investigating defects; QA efforts as a part of technology projects; executing QA efforts using different project methods, including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean; and SmartBear Testing Suite.
