The Role
TimelyMD is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the Care Transformation team. This role reports directly to the Quality Assurance Program Manager and is responsible for supporting others within the organization towards achieving quality improvement goals. This position will support the collection, review, analysis, and interpretation of operational data, assist with policy revisions, and investigate clinical occurrences. This role will communicate and work across the company with multiple stakeholders and external auditors and vendors. The position requires planning and organizational skills and to be able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for supporting the quality assurance and patient safety programs
- Assists with developing and revising policy and procedures as directed
- Collects and manages data essential for measuring improvement and opportunities for change
- Provides feedback and support for each service line to assist in maintaining a state of continuous readiness for visits/surveys/investigations conducted by external agencies (e.g. URAC, NCQA, etc.)
- Performs assessments of quality related issues and risks
- Reports major deficiencies to service line leadership and executive leadership
- Works with the training department to create and implement training material as needed
- Partners with corporate leadership to develop and implement compliance standards consistent with state and federal requirements
- Participates in internal and external audits and inspections
- Partners with management teams to align compliance with the company's objectives
- Utilizes a variety of techniques to assess compliance needs for care providers across the country
- Acts as a role model for excellence in care and shows a high degree of professionalism
- Communicates and presents information effectively to groups and/or individuals with all levels of staff and leadership
- Participates in multidisciplinary project activities
- Attends and participates in meetings with management staff as requested
- Assists the QA Program Manager in preparing for regulatory surveys by instructing staff on matters of compliance and licensure, and immediately correcting problems noted by surveyors
- Assists QA Program Manager in preparing and documenting actions related to the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement and Compliance Committees

- Must be able to deliver information to stakeholders in a manner that is supportive, timely and understandable
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in health care delivery supervision
- One to three years' experience in Quality/Resource Management
- Experience with and knowledge of URAC and NCQA performance improvement standards preferred
- Experience and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in creating forms and documents
- Skilled in creating summary spreadsheets, documents, and presentations
- Healthcare customer service experience preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $75,000- $80,0000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay, and you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay.
