Quality Assurance Coordinator – Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance and be familiar with I CARE MANAGER systems and processes.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator reports to the Quality Assurance Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed visits and inspections of agency services in all departments. Generate a detailed report of site visit findings and forward to the QA Manager to issue Plan of Corrections.
a) Check Health and safety needs of the participants – PMOFs, MARs, Nursing Assessments etc.
b) Review of all medications and ensure expired medications are removed from the Unit.
c) Check and ensure that emergency kits, water and food are adequate.
d) Check Program Records and ensure trainings and documents are up to date and goals are appropriately documented. Review Carematics and caraSolva.
(Detailed inspection of the physical plant)
Ø Provide recommendations to the Program Directors to ensure that each facility is properly licensed, meets safety standards, is furnished appropriately and conveys a home-like environment.
(Residential oversight)
Ø Create a database system for tracking behavior plans, person centered plans, and monthly site documentation such as goal data sheets, fire drill logs, etc. to ensure they’re up to date for agency compliance.
(Documentation oversight)
Ø Assist with Incident Management including incident reporting, conducting investigations, tracking and completing plan of corrections, ensuring compliance with required deadlines.
(Follow PORII)
Ø Compile monthly reports and statistics of incidents in preparation for Standing Committee meetings, attend if needed, and report such information to the Standing Committee.
(Training)
Ø Provide in-services to staff while on site as needed and ensure training is documented.
Ø Other duties may be assigned.
Qualification:
- Must have at least an AA Degree with 3 years’ experience in the healthcare field.
- A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
