SalaryOur Educational Services Talent Search program aims to assist over 1,700 inner-city students in low-income, predominantly minority neighborhoods with post-secondary planning and awareness. The program has operated since 1966 and has successfully placed over 75,000 at-risk, first-generation students into over 400 colleges and universities nationwide. Our dedicated Educational Specialists provide customized services, enrichment activities, and workshops to help program. Participants identify post-secondary options that align with their academic, social, career, and economic profiles. Our main goal is to empower students to select colleges that foster their growth.

We seek talented individuals who share our vision of serving and bringing positive change and
transformative opportunities to youth residing in economically distressed communities in the
Chicagoland area.
- Coordinate with Educational Specialists, EIP (Early Intervention Program) tutors, and
and private funders.
- Ensure that contract compliance of all client information and documentation is entered
- Ensure case files for new and continuing clients are maintained and accurate with the
- Prepare for monitoring by federal, state, local, and private funders by supporting and
- Facilitate regular internal Quality Assurance checks that reflect the funders’ timelines.
- Make recommendations, conducts ongoing training needs assessment, and provides staff
Who You Are:
- A culturally sensitive professional with experiences, beliefs, attitudes, and awareness to relate to our client population.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, social work, or related field.
- At least two years of experience working with youth in crisis, coupled with knowledge relevant to community resources and opportunities for educational advancement.
- Strong communication skills (written and Verbal), which you can adjust and leverage to meet the needs of your audience and target population.
- Experience collaborating with team members and other shared stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities.
