Quality Assurance Coordinator
(Exempt)

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work remotely, and report to the Quality Manager. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
· Feed with Confidence product releases per internal positive release program
· Maintain Pre-Ship List & ASN daily audits through 3PL WMS
· Release products, manage products assignment, and co-man information
· Request Quality Co-man and Supplier Survey documentation
· Maintain completion status tracker and follow-up with requests for information
· Organize critical documents in SharePoint - Co-Man documents, Supplier documents, SOP’s, Forms, etc.
· SOP creation and maintenance for department
· Assist with updates and training as directed
· Quality hold coordination and product disposition as directed by QA Manager
· Communicate with Co-mans, Suppliers, and 3PL’s
· Assist with generation of hold documentation and maintaining hold trackers
· Support Controlled Process Change (CPC) process
· Maintain CPC tracker, monitor expiration status and assist with communication and confirmation of receipt
· Support R&D and Product Development initiatives
· Assist with product specification creation and updates
· Assist with collection and preparation of Trial and Commissioning documentation
· Support preparation of reports related to Co-manufacturer and Supplier performance
· Monthly Business Reviews, quality Incidents, complaint trends, and any other reports as needed
· Assist with preparation of presentations to illustrate Co-man and Supplier performance
· Provide timely, courteous, and professional communication via email and phone as needed
· Manage Product Quality Review Program
· Maintain schedule of products to be evaluated
· Manage web pages, forms, and pictures
· Lead quarterly review with management team
· Provide support to cross-functional teams as needed to support business needs
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree or equivalent experience or training in Quality, Food Safety, or similar field preferred
· Basic knowledge of food safety – Willing to become PCQI, HACCP, and/or SQF certified
· Must be willing to learn Salesforce CRM database platform
· Attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft 365, professional written & oral communication, good prioritizing and organization skills, good math skills, willing to seek our and learn jo specific computer applications as needed
· Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening
· Must be eligible to work in the US
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years in data handling (input, reporting) or Quality Assurance documentation
· Experience in writing and maintaining SOP’s
· Experience in tracking and following up on projects
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
· Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms
· Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
· Ability to operate a computer and other office technology
· Ability to observe details at close range
· Occasionally travel for work up to 5% of the time
· Occasionally Ascend/descend stairs
