We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented bilingual Spanish Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our food products through the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust Quality Assurance programs. The Quality Assurance Analyst will report to the Quality Assurance Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold regulatory compliance, implement best practices, and continuously improve quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process production, and finished food products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify deviations, defects, and non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify quality and food safety concerns promptly.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant food safety regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and international regulations governing food manufacturing and safety.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals and audits.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality and food safety tests, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare regular reports on quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the Quality Assurance system.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality and food safety issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high-quality and food safety standards.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training to production and quality control personnel on quality standards, procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA regulations.
- Foster a culture of quality, food safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (GMPs, HACCP, Preventive Controls, Food Defense, etc.) and certification schemes (ISO, GFSI).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using Quality Assurance tools and software.
- Fluency in Spanish
- Traveling to other cities or states to inspect production facilities/Distribution Centers

Pay: $31.00 per hour
