The Principal Quality Assurance Analyst Provides performance and security testing technical guidance to Quality Assurance (QA) team to meet business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures test plans are created, documented, executed, tracked, analyzed; reviews and approves test plans, test design, test scripts and test cases.
• Ensures business and technical requirements are mapped into test suites, test cases and test scripts.
• Ensures the identification, analysis and documentation of defects, questionable functions, errors and inconsistencies in software program functions, including but not limited to, outputs, online screens, content and security.
• Establishes the methods for, and oversees, software test activities, including requirements review at the concept and design level to ensure testability and clarity, identification and removal of product defects, in-house design testing, process and field validation efforts, and contracted test and verification activities.
• Develops QA and Risk Analysis testing procedures at the project level; ensures computer applications are defect-free, compatible, adhere to Company standards and meet customer requirements.
• Assumes QA oversight of the project in areas of design control, risk management, design verification and validation.
• Manages the corrective action investigations for internally developed software and purchased software
• Facilitates meetings and conference calls; coordinates and leads training for stakeholders.
• Mentors, coaches and trains QA Analysts.
• Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
• Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to QA processes, procedures and services.
• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a minimum of eight years software Quality Assurance analysis experience, including an understanding of the software development life cycle, databases (DB2 and SQL), file structures, system design and analysis, risk analysis and project management.
• Proven ability writing, designing and executing automated scripts, manual tests and relational database queries is required.
• Proven expertise with test scripts such as Python, VBScript and JavaScript is required.
• Proven knowledge of cloud based testing and data ETL tools is required.
• Proven expertise with defect management tools is necessary.
• Proven expertise with change management tools such as SVN, Git is necessary.
• Agile experience is required.
• Proven ability to research, develop and implement Company testing standards is required.
• Proven expertise with the review of software requirements, risk analysis, specification documents and testing procedures is necessary.
• Expert in analyzing integrations and ensuring traceability mapping for integration test coverage.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and maintaining End-to-End Tests for complex projects.
• Proven experience managing an Offshore and Onshore model test team.
• Experience in SAP, Point of Sale Application and payments test planning is a bonus.
• Testing experience with Web based, cloud hosted enterprise software products is preferred.
• Proven understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle fundamentals is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization is necessary; ability to clearly articulate technical ideas to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing is required.
• Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project, is necessary.
• The ability to work successfully within a team and serve as a trusted expert for assigned duties is necessary.
• Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions is essential.
• Proven ability to multi-task and motivate self and others while managing multiple projects and meeting various deadlines simultaneously is required.
• Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.
• In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
• Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.

Education Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information Technology, IT Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
ISTQB or CSTE Foundation Certification required; ISTQB or CSTE Advanced Certification preferred.
