SalaryAn industry leading manufacturer is seeking an entry level individual to join our Quality Control Team. As a Quality Associate, you will be responsible for manufacturing operations including routine product evaluation, production operations and lab work after secondary processes are completed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Produce parts in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and quality specifications.
- Be responsible for meeting daily productions quotas.
- Identify & communicate to management manufacturing defects promptly.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to start and complete a job run.
- Perform material specification testing using calipers, and hardness and compression tester.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments
-Use of inspection measuring/test equipment such as micrometers & microscopes.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, in a manufacturing environment
-Visually observe changing manufacturing conditions
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the goals of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
