Partner with Russ Hadick and Associates, a leading recruiting firm, in advancing your career as the Quality Manager for our esteemed client company. As the Quality Manager, you'll spearhead efforts to ensure adherence to stringent quality systems and cultivate a culture of excellence within our client company.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team of inspectors, engineers, and safety specialists, fostering a high-performance environment focused on exceeding customer expectations and maintaining a safe workplace.
Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics, such as Non-Conformance Report (NCR) performance, first-time yield, and scrap reduction.
Provide leadership in employee relations, communication, coaching, and development to facilitate problem resolution and continuous improvement.
Design and implement robust inspection processes, utilizing quality tools to optimize evaluation activities and resource allocation.
Coordinate internal, external, and supplier audits, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and driving process improvements.
Develop efficient processes for capturing, reporting, and analyzing quality information, enhancing process capability and control.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate quality requirements into existing systems and processes.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and compliance with quality controls, conducting regular quality reviews and communications with stakeholders.
Qualify equipment through rigorous test procedures during production intervals, minimizing process drift and maximizing quality performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing quality environments, with expertise in precision machining.
Proven track record of leading quality teams and implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, tooling design, CMM experience (preferably with PC DMIS), and surface plate layout.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
