The Quality and Test Manager is responsible for establishing testing processes to ensure the Mirion Digital Innovation Group (DIG) delivers quality software that meets required quality standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring that DIG software development processes meet the requirements of various quality standards in place in both the Technologies and Medical groups within Mirion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure that products and services meet the required quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees to ensure that they understand and adhere to quality standards and procedures.
- Develop and implement test plans and strategies to ensure that software meets the required quality standards.
- Manage the testing process, including the allocation of resources, scheduling of tests, and tracking of progress.
- Drive the automation of testing leading to efficient CI/CD cycles.
- Identify, document, and track issues and defects, and work with the development team to ensure that they are addressed.
- Continuously monitor and improve the testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, product management, project management, development, engineering, and operations.
- Ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of the department and that testing is integrated into the overall development process.
- Assess and develop the roadmap for resource needs within the test team, including existing staff, new staff, and partner organizations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in quality management and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years Software testing.
- 3+ years’ experience with an automated test tool such as Selenium, Puppeteer, Cucumber, etc. required.
- 5+ years Quality assurance in any area such as internal/external auditing, process creation, process monitoring, or continuous improvement required.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
