What Success Looks Like:
- Operate forklift/complete daily forklift checklist when needed
- Assist Strip Mill operator and Batch-Off operator when needed
- General housekeeping and perform daily/weekly 5s duties
- General understanding of Gear Pump change-out
- Complete two-roll safety checklist
- Ensure knives are working properly
- Correctly identify the correct batch is being milled
- Ensure belts, pans, and knives are cleaned between compounds
- Ensure compound retains are rotated accordingly
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures
Your Credentials:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and use upper extremities while occasionally crouching and bending
- Some sitting, climbing stairs, and lifting
- Close visual work required. Ability to read information in a variety of formats
- Knowledge of general computer skills and attention to detail
Hourly Wage is $17/hour plus $1.00/hour shift premium (for second and third shifts)Second shift = 2:45pm – 11:00pm; Third shift = 10:45pm – 7:00am
