Quanex is looking for a Production Technician to join us in Cambridge, Ohio.
Summary: Operate forklift/complete daily checklist, assist with gear pump changeovers/cleanouts, assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures, and general housekeeping and perform daily/weekly 5s duties.

What Success Looks Like:
- Operate both computer screens and understand them.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Complete two-roll mill safety checklist.
- Ensure knives are working properly.
- Ensure strip specifications are within tolerance.
- Ensure batches run in a continuous strip.
- Ensure batches run consistently.
- Cut samples for Q.A. testing.
- Fluently operate gear pump.
- Drop Mill qualification preferred.
Your Credentials:
- Ability to constantly stand, use upper extremities, perform overhead work, and have good hand coordination.
- Frequent walking and bending.
- Close visual work required. Ability to read information in a variety of formats.
- Environmental conditions are climate controlled indoor activity with limited variable outdoor climate.
Hourly Wage is $17/hour plus $1.00/hour shift premium (for second and third shifts)
Second shift = 2:45pm – 11:00pm; Third shift = 10:45pm – 7:00am
