Qa Engineer - Selenium

We are actively seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience in manual and automated testing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is experienced in testing APIs, web-based software, and mobile applications (iOS and Android). Knowledge of test automation, including scripting own automated tests, and familiarity with Selenium or Cypress, is highly advantageous.

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $80,000/annually depending on experience
Available Shift: Normal Business Hours (Monday - Friday).
Worksite Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL / Hybrid 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of our software applications across web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android), ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Implement and manage automated tests, leveraging your scripting skills to enhance our testing capabilities and coverage.
• Utilize Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools for test automation, improving our overall QA process efficiency.
• Perform meticulous API testing, ensuring high performance, reliability, and interoperability of our software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and ensure that high-quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or errors encountered, and communicate effectively with the relevant teams for resolutions.
• Review and analyze system specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies, and improve existing processes and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a QA engineering role, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress is a significant plus.
• Experience in scripting and writing automated tests is highly desirable.
• Proven experience with API testing and web-based software testing.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors in detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner.
