Position Overview
Sonobi is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our stellar team. If you have a passion for getting things done and smart enough to work at top companies, but you’re picky about finding the right role, you have found it! Sonobi, Inc. brings online publishers and advertisers together via a single solution so publishers can maximize ad revenue and advertisers can buy high quality impressions. Accomplishing this mission involves serving billions of ad impressions a month and making automated decisions in milliseconds. We are constantly improving our ad serving infrastructure, and shaving milliseconds off our response times.
Essential Job Functions:- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create acceptance criteria between the product and engineering teams
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for both front-end and back-end
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
- Test and report on the quality of new releases
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Monitor debugging process results
- Perform regression testing on existing functionality
- Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands on experience with automated testing tools
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 2-3 years relevant experience required
