The Senior QA Automation Engineer will help AMN Language Services deliver robust products to market. The QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with our Software and IT Engineering teams to build and implement test cases, employing manual and automated testing methodologies. This role involves meticulously analyzing software requirements, defining relevant test cases, and systematically reporting any identified issues to the development team. Proficiency in developing and implementing automated tests is essential, as it contributes significantly to improving the software quality assurance process. Ideal candidates for this position will have the skills to script tests for web and mobile clients, facilitating efficient and comprehensive quality assurance.

Pay Rate
$82,000 - $97,500 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will help AMN Language Services deliver robust products to market. Job Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and formulate comprehensive test plans, cases, and conditions to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Establish a structured testing process encompassing test plans, automated scripts, test result reports, and regression testing to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Strategically capture and analyze logs from browsers and mobile devices to identify and diagnose issues.
- Perform Regression Testing, black-box Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, Mobile testing, API testing, Database testing, etc.,
- Optimally describe and detail the steps to reproduce any encountered bugs or defects.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to assist in debugging and solving issues, improving automation where possible.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product Management teams to develop tailored testing approaches and strategies for specific products and product lines.
- Actively participate in peer and external reviews to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout development.
Minimum Work Experience
- 5+ years of recent experience in QA Automation and web Automation using Selenium or Puppeteer.
- Proven experience of 3 years in Mobile Automation with Appium, Android, iOS, and Xcode.
- Experience with programs like Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience in SQL, PL/SQL.
- Previous experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Jira confluence and Zephyr.
- Experience with reporting tools such as New Relic.
- Experience with building tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Experience with Playwright.
Additional experience
- Having experience with API testing using Postman is a plus.
- Nice to have experience with Database testing.
- Experience scripting using load test tools (Locust, JMeter) is preferred.

- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Familiarity with Agile & DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication capabilities.
- Ability to work independently.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree referred.
