Join the Support Service team as a Lead. The Support Services Lead would be responsible for assisting with donation pickups, moves management, meeting and event setups, crowd control and donation distributions. This position provides support and coverage for the Support Services Manager as needed for vacations and illnesses. Assists with managing and assigning department work orders and compiling data for team reports. Additionally, this position supports building and warehouse maintenance to ensure a clean environment and aids with security services as needed.


The Expertise We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two (2) year experience in logistics, facilities management, or event coordination.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving records

What you Deliver


  • In conjunction with the Support Services Supervisor or Director, assists with coordinating and scheduling donation pickups from various locations. Ensure timely and efficient transportation of donated items to the designated facility. Maintain accurate records of pickups, including item types and quantities.
  • You assist in setting up meeting rooms and event spaces according to specific requirements. Arrange seating, equipment, and materials as needed for meetings, presentations, and events. Collaborate with event organizers to ensure all setup needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • You facilitate the distribution of donated items to beneficiaries or partner organizations. Maintain inventory levels and organize donated goods for efficient distribution. Coordinate with recipients to schedule pickups or deliveries as necessary.
  • You conduct regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the building and warehouse. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to upkeep the facilities.
  • You mentor and provide guidance to support staff involved in donation pickups, distributions, and facility maintenance. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members adhere to established procedures and standards. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to productivity and morale.
  • You liaise with internal departments, external partners, and donors to coordinate support services effectively. Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on service activities. Address inquiries and concerns from donors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • You maintain accurate records of donation pickups and distributions. Generate reports on service metrics, including pickup/distribution volumes. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
