Job Name: Purchasing Associate
What you'll do:
- Communicate with fabric mills and negotiate favorable terms (price, lead time)
- Send purchase orders to mills and ensure timely delivery
- Onboard new vendors to the purchasing process to ensure a smooth transition
- Track fabric inventory and initiate fabric shipment to vendors and 3PLs
- Assist in process of approving bulk shipping samples and updating relevant databases accordingly
- Daily data entry and data management in ERP system
- Troubleshoot fabric delays, shipping sample rejections, or bulk fabric quality issues
- Oversee the shipment of sample fabric for photoshoots
- Contribute to the improvement of data collection and reporting
What you'll need:
- Organizational skills
- Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Data management
- Effective negotiation
- Proactive and creative problem-solving mindset
- Foreign language a plus
