We are a womenswear manufacturing company looking for an Assistant Designer to join our team and help support the Head Designer. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of current trends, garment construction and be skilled in technical sketching of styles through the use of illustrator and/or photoshop. The Assistant Designer will need to be punctual and organized to help streamline the development process. Prior experience is recommended. Please include a portfolio with resume.

Responsibilities:

• Help create sketches, drawings, and illustrations for sampling purposes.
• Assist in taking photos, recording and merchandising samples for client meetings.
• Support Head Designer in procuring all needed materials for meetings and development.
• Trend research and fabric sourcing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Garment Construction: 1 year (Required)
• Fashion Design: 1 year (Required)
