As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing department by assisting with sourcing, logistics, and materials management. - Assist with sourcing and procuring materials, products, and services
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
- Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining positive relationships
- Support the purchasing team in analyzing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of purchasing strategies

```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and materials management
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS or other procurement systems is a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
