Purchasing Agent

Hi-Tech Aerospace Machine Shop that produces complex high precision parts in Upland has an immediate opening for a full-time Purchasing Agent – someone who is responsible, quick, accurate, and organized....PAY is Based on Experience

- Able to read specifications/blue prints

- Execute & follow-up purchase orders daily

- Negotiate pricing and terms

- Develop and optimize supplier relationships

- Purchasing raw materials: Metals, hardware

- Work with outside suppliers, processing houses and other machine shops

- Develop and acquire new vendor accounts

- Familiar with travelers

- Expediting

- Scheduling

- Experience in production and prototype jobs

- Minimum of FIVE years of recent experience

- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
