Maimonides Medical Center currently has an opportunity for part time Public Communications Associate. In this role, you will work as receptionist at the Patient Information desk, greeting and directing staff, visitors, and general public and providing information about patients (e.g., location, status). You will also channel all incoming calls and provide direct numbers. In addition, you will provide telephone and communication services for the Medical Center in emergency situations according to hospital policies and procedures.

We require:

· 1 year of experience in customer service or extensive public contact preferred.

· High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.

· Good English written verbal communication skills.

· Good interpersonal skills.
