Provider Business Analyst position works closely with the state Client, Managed Care Organizations, Providers, and the Provider Enrollment Team. The analyst will conduct research, assist with testing and production verification. Here are the details on this position.

- Ability to apply an intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve various common business issues.
- Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Acts as an informed team member, providing information analysis and limited project direction input.
- Follows established guidelines and interprets policies.
- Evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations.
- Research, identify, and specify solutions to problems. Support and conduct visualization, user experience, and configuration elements of solution design.
- Developing structured user manuals and training
- Business rules modeling
- Develop and execute acceptance test plans
- Three or more years of experience in technical and business analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled at using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Demonstrates the flexibility to work on a high-paced project with definitive deadlines
- Ability to work outside core business hours if needed to meet project timelines
- Medicaid/Health Insurance experience
- Provider Enrollment or Provider Credentialing experience
- Experience working in a project setting
- Understanding test plans
- This hybrid position requires candidates to reside within commuting distance of office in Topeka, Kansas
- In the future this position might return to office at the request of the client
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 - $74,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
