The manager will be responsible for leading the development of effective pricing proposal for a range of sales channel customers. The role is also expected to provide strategic advice to sales, merchandising, procurement, and RevMan.
Work with senior managers and directors and above to set pricing strategy
Implementation of pricing strategy, gauging effectiveness, collecting market feedback
Obtain, analyze, and incorporate pricing strategy inputs on all lines in scope down to the SKU level
Analyze competitor pricing documents to provide market insights
Manage MAP pricing tool and policing on Proprietary Brand lines
Work with costing team to determine profit matrix for both HTR and ATD
Analytical in nature – ability to think in a dynamic way and factoring in all variables when comparing brands down to the line/size level
Apply cost changes, manage revenue, positioning and communication for all PB products
On point with managing monthly price changes load in and communication
Managing new business development lead including product bids from a pricing perspective with sales team
Manage individual customer price files working directly with sales team
Point person for Canadian PB pricing including currency exchange management and GP standards
CAD specific: apply cost changes, manage revenue, positioning and communication for all PB products
VP, Product Development
Advanced knowledge and skills in MS Excel and work
Intermediate to expert level in Power BI and Tableau
Strong inter-personal skills and that ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Understanding of accounting principles and linkages to project management
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
General understanding of international business trade elements and incoterms
Min. 5 yrs of tire industry experience and solid understanding of the market relevant to brand positioning
