Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining and managing residential and commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property occupancy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors, contractors and on-site maintenance
- Advertise and market available properties to attract potential tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants through background checks and reference verification
- Collect rent payments and manage delinquent accounts
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and other necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing property management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Proficient in Yardi or similar property management software
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
