Community Health Development Partners (CHDP) is a community focused, quickly growing organization that is seeking an entrepreneurially minded Property Manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of assigned commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall well-being of the properties, maximizing rental income, and maintaining positive tenant relationships. This involves handling tenant relations, overseeing maintenance and handling basic financial matters.
Property Operations
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned properties.
- Market available properties to attract prospective tenants.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers, and lease agreements to ensure all legal requirements are met.
Financial Management
- Set and collect rent, enforce late payment policies and manage delinquencies.
- Develop and manage property budgets including but not limited to common area maintenance (CAM)
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams for reporting
Maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repair activities
- Source and manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects
Tenant relations
- Foster positive tenant relationships through effective communication
- Address tenant concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Enforce lease terms and property rules
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years in commercial and/or residential property management or a similar role
- Experience with basic accounting and understanding of how to create and maintain budgets
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in affordable housing/low-income housing tax credits.

Salary Description
$55,000 - $65,000
