We are hiring a Project Managerfor one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.
Job Description:
- The Program Manager (PMO) shall assist with the coordination, planning and implementation of specific research programs that address the statutory requirements, mission and vision of the NJ Commission on Brain Injury Research (NJCBIR) and the NJ Commission on Spinal Cord Injury Research (NJCSCR) operating as the Office of Commissions through the auspices of the Office of Research Initiatives.
- The Program Manager shall also participate and attend meetings, committees or other meetings relevant to the operational efficiency of the Office of Commissions and perform other duties as requested.
- The PMO shall be required to collaborate with the Office of the Commissions Contract Administrators functioning as Grants Management Officers (GMO) as needed, to ensure timely communications between the PMO, GMO and the researcher regarding submissions of program/project changes and, or budget revisions.
- The primary responsibility for this position will be to manage the grant awards process from pre-award through post-award by collaborating and contributing to:
- Draft Request for Applications (RFA)/Research Program Guidelines and distribution of approved final version to stakeholders, post to website,
- Working with a 4-member scientific relevancy review panel to identify, recruit, scientific reviewers for the review and scoring of grant applications based on scope of research and/or research focus,
- Complete related section of the NOFA as required,
- Test rollover of new applications in SAGE with the Grants Management Officers (GMO)
- Monitor ongoing activities related to posting of RFA/Research Program Guidelines and NOFA to include, but not limited to: record and acknowledge receipt of Letter of Intent (LOI),
- Collaborate with the GMO to review and create all post award documents including Attachment C's and grant notification letters.
- Monitor, review and implement the review of progress reports with external scientific reviewers.
Work hours:
- 8:30am 4:30pm (Initially Monday - Wednesday /(3) days per week)
- Lunch period: 1 hour
